Morley Spiral Gothic

Fully restored Morley Spiral Gothic harp, 46 strings (very similar in style and design to an Erard Spiral Gothic). Restored to like-new condition.

The restoration included a newly built neck, made from solid timbers (not plywood or laminates) and constructed using original methods. A new soundboard has also been fitted.

​

All decorative elements have been carefully repaired and regilded using a combination of traditional water and oil gilding techniques. The brasswork, including the mechanism and pedals, has been repolished to its original finish and relacquered.

This harp has a lovely rich, warm tone and would suit a wide range of players. The scope and quality of the restoration make this a rare opportunity to acquire a fully restored Spiral Gothic harp ready for many years of playing
